Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Do I have to be a therapy client to book an assessment?
Nope. These are standalone services available to anyone - no therapy commitment required. You can book a one-time assessment whether you're brand new or returning.
2. What happens after I complete the assessment?
Once your responses are submitted, I professionally score and review your results. You'll receive a written PDF summary with key insights, observations, and recommendations, typically within 3–5 business days.
3. Can I meet with you to go over the results?
Yes. You have the option to book a 30-minute follow-up session for $75 to review your results, ask questions, and receive personalized guidance. This is ideal if you want more depth, clarity, or next steps beyond the written report.
4. Can I use these assessments for work, disability, or legal needs?
Some screenings, like the Global Mental Health + Functioning Evaluation, can support documentation for general workplace needs or accommodations. However, these are clinical screenings, not formal psychological evaluations. If you need a diagnosis or court-ordered eval, I can refer you to the appropriate provider.
5. How long does the assessment take?
Most assessments take between 15–45 minutes, depending on the type. Everything is done virtually and securely.
6. Are these assessments covered by insurance?
No. These services are private-pay only and not billable through insurance. This allows more flexibility, privacy, and customization without restrictions.
7. Will I receive a diagnosis?
No, these are screenings, not diagnostic evaluations. They offer insight into your mental health, emotional functioning, or specific concerns, but they do not provide a clinical diagnosis. If diagnostic clarity is needed, I’ll help guide your next steps.
